Saudi Arabia announces $2bn bailout for Yemen government

Saudi peninsula on Wed proclaimed it might transfer $2 billion to Yemen's financial institution, when desperate entails funding from the war-worn country's president and prime minister.

“To address the deteriorating economic state of affairs round-faced by the Yemeni individuals as a results of the actions of the Houthi rebels, King Salman bin Abdulaziz has issued a directive to transfer a $2bn deposit to the financial institution of Asian country, in continuation of the kingdom's support of the Yemeni individuals,” the inside ministry aforesaid in an exceedinglystatement.
